Beach Launched Vessels

Flamborough, Hornsea and Withernsea do not have harbours so the skippers and crew launch their boats from the beach. They are driven to the shore by tractor and trailer, then launched from the water’s edge. A member of the ISC team drives down the coast every day to collect the freshly landed catch in a refrigerated van. It is then driven to Bridlington to be either put into our holding tanks or sold immediately.
